Acceptable methods of payment are: Credit Card, Check, Money Order and Certified Bank Funds. For Check/Debit cards and other forms of payments please contact the store prior to placing your order. Check/Debit cards may be used to order, however, please note that the Authorization Amount and Headroom Verification is set up for Credit Cards and may appear to be approximately (10% plus $25) higher than the actual charge that you will be billed. Watch your account and you will see that the ending charge will be correct. See item #6 below.

It is our goal to offer OUR customers the best service possible AND (by popular request) include more products to please owners of other fine breeds as well. We want to make the company policies as clear as possible. You are the customer and we are here to please you. However, we must also stay in business. In addition we must strive to protect both our valued customers and our store. So, to accomplish these goals, the following ordering, cancellation, return, privacy and other policies must be maintained. By submitting an order, photo or request form you agree to the following:
ORDER STATUS CONCERNS & HELP:
Please refer to the ***ORDER STATUS - ORDER HELP*** page (by clicking the tab to the left) if your order (within the USA, under 2 lbs & not on back order) has not arrived within 3 weeks (4 weeks during the Holidays) & you have STATUS CONCERNS. You MUST follow the instructions on that page or your email may not be received and processed correctly.

1) Defective or incorrectly filled orders will be replaced. The defect or discrepancy in the order MUST be validated when the item(s) are returned. If the item(s) are found to be defective or had been incorrectly filled your replacements will be sent to you with haste. You MUST always contact us regarding your return PRIOR to shipping to ensure it meets the criteria and for detailed return shipping instructions. Our standard pre-approved returns are sent back to us using only The United Postal Service, NOT UPS to:

2) Orders that are NOT defective and may not be possible to restock and/or resell are generally not returnable items as is common practice with Internet and mail orders from most businesses. However, in a special effort to keep customers happy, on a case by case basis, at the stores sole discretion, certain orders (in new/unused and resalable condition) will be considered for exchange or credit for the current or sale price less shipping, handling and 25% restocking fee. These items are typically either resold at a 25% reduced cost or donated to Russell Rescue or other Charitable Organization.
3) The store can NOT be responsible for the security of the location you choose to have your delivery sent. The shipping and billing address MUST match in all cases. Packages had been resent in the past, at no charge; packages that the post office had confirmed were indeed delivered, only to learn later from the customer that the neighbor in the apartment next door had stolen their original box. If theft or loss at your location is a concern to you, you MUST specify that you require SPECIAL DELIVERY and that your delivery be signed for when you place your order. Small additional shipping charges may apply in some cases. This way the safety of your package can be maintained.
4) Standard Risk of Loss: All items purchased from RSG, Inc. and affiliated stores are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the mail carrier. Items damaged or lost by the mail carrier during shipping must be addressed with the USPS. We typically ship using The United States Postal Service Priority Mail. http://usps.com You may choose to require signed delivery and/or tracking by requesting this service on your order at the time you place the order.
5) Orders may NOT be canceled for any reason after they are placed. Once an order is placed, the costs to create, process, package and send that order begin. If an order is canceled, the credit card WILL be billed. If this or ANY other charge is disputed, the credit company or bank will be referred to this very clear policy per their requirements. An additional processing charge of $50.00 or 25% of the order amount (whichever is greater) WILL be billed to the customer immediately as well as any and all costs incurred due to the dispute. If a card is declined for any reason on an order which was shipped or canceled, or if a check does not clear, the funds must be replaced within 5 days by a money order including all additional fees including a $50.00 returned check/declined card fee and any other fees charged due to the failure of the check or card to clear. Any collection and/or legal costs incurred in an effort to receive payment will be added to the original amount and fees due. All suspected fraud will be reported. Civil Court action will be initiated and must be defended personally and locally in Harford County, Maryland, USA if payment is not immediate.
6) Do to the increasing credit card and check fraud plaguing the Internet, any and all credit card, check, or other forms of fraud will be reported immediately. All information will be provided to the authorities. This is as much for your (our valued customer) protection as ours. Also, many products shipped outside the US will require that the payment with the adjusted shipping be mailed in certified US funds only. Credit Cards will not be accepted on many of these orders from outside the US. Note: When an order is placed with the store the Card will be Verified and Authorized by Paymentech for the amount of the order with “head room” of approximately 10% plus $25. This is a Paymentech Risk Management Tool only to assure that the Credit Card being used is not at (or over) the credit limit at the time the order is placed. The card will be charged prior to shipping for the actual amount shown on your order and/or Confirmation Email. PLEASE NOTE THAT DEBIT CARDS ARE DIFFERENT FROM CREDIT CARDS AND WILL SHOW UP ON YOUR BANK STATEMENT and may confuse you. Please call your bank and they can explain this. You are not being overcharged. Any additional shipping on orders will ONLY be applied after the item has actually shipped if it is needed.
7) NOTE: Additional SHIPPING & HANDLING charges will be applied to certain orders above 2 lbs & certain orders outside the Continental US requiring extra postage & handling. You will see this amount appear on your Credit Card statement. If these or any other charges fail to clear on your Card, they must be made in certified US funds within 5 business days including any fees or costs incurred due to the failure of your card to clear. It is your responsibility to monitor your credit and checking accounts to determine if funds have not cleared and make prompt payment. For security SHIPPING & BILLING information MUST MATCH if paying by credit card. If not, your order will be delayed. ORDER EARLY DURING THE HOLIDAYS, THERE CAN BE LONG DELAYS. There are no guaranteed time frames on shipping. Most orders within the US and under 2 lbs ship within 2-3 business days from the date the order is actually processed by the shipping department and should arrive 2-3 days after actual shipping. Usually under 2 weeks. Some orders may take 3 weeks to arrive. We typically use USPS Priority Mail but reserve the right to use other shipping methods when applicable. 8) The old GIFT CERTIFICATES were valid for 6 months from the purchase date.

We collect only information to help us serve you better, enhance your shopping experience and communicate efficiently. We have a zero tolerance policy. Any and all of the above will be reported and prosecuted to the fullest extent on the first offense. This includes but is not limited to all phone calls, forwards, electronic mail, faxes, letters and other forms of communication or action. All forms of communication with the store and store representatives are recorded and saved for quality control and security purposes as per our policy.
12) NOTE: we may change, modify or amend our policies from time to time. We strive to conform to changing legal requirements and to better protect your information at all times. When changes occur we will notify you of the new policy by posting it here on the policy page of our web site. We encourage you to remain current with all policies.
* The exceptions are in cases of suspected fraud, criminal intent or in cases involving any form of abuse or use of profanity directed toward any store employee or representative. In instances such as these your information WILL be provided to the legal entities requiring such and reports filed.
